PowerPlus Energy at All Energy 2025: Innovation, Insights and Solar Industry Growth

The PowerPlus team took part in All Energy 2025 in Melbourne last week and left feeling energised and inspired after two incredible days connecting with industry peers and, just as importantly, spending quality time together as a team. This year’s event once again delivered a dynamic showcase of innovation, collaboration, and community across the renewable energy sector. Over two action-packed days, our team connected with partners, explored new technologies, and celebrated the incredible growth of Australia’s clean energy landscape.

Here’s what some of our team had to say about the event:

Rick McKenzie (National Sales Manager)

All Energy 2025 did not disappoint. The demand for batteries was front and centre thanks to the Home Battery Program, with both familiar and new players filling the halls. As the largest solar exhibition in the southern hemisphere, it was the perfect chance to catch up with industry peers and talk about how much the market has evolved. Events like the Solar Cutters Awards, Greentech After Party, Supply Partners Unplugged and RFI lunch were great opportunities to connect with installers and industry legends alike.

On a personal level, it’s always great to have the whole team together — sharing a few laughs and catching up on the year so far. The days are long but having everyone together makes it worth every minute.

The Marketing Team

For us in the marketing team, All Energy 2025 was both exciting and full of learning. For Freya, it was her first time at the event, and she was eager to see everything come together from the buzz of the crowd to our stand, which, although a little smaller than last year, looked fantastic once it was set up. She came away with plenty of lessons to take forward and new ideas on how best to market our products, including plans to put some wheels in motion for case studies with our partners.

For Grace, who has attended multiple events before, it was just as rewarding to hear firsthand from installers about their Whispr installations and how we can continue to improve their experience. For both of us, it was also great to catch up with team members who live in different states. And, of course, we had plenty of fun along the way sharing good food, laughs, and catching up with friends. Overall, it was a mix of learning, planning, and enjoying the atmosphere that makes this event so valuable.

Lachlan Owen - Turner (Senior Account Manager QLD)

“All Energy 2025 was a fantastic showcase of the latest technology, especially in battery storage. It was great to reconnect with familiar faces and see new players entering the market. The event was busy, well-organised and full of energy, with exhibitors going bigger and better each year. A highlight for me was filming our marketing videos and joining the factory tour. Overall, it was a great chance to catch up with the team and industry friends.”

Kellie Boyd (Corporate Sales Manager QLD)

“My first year at All Energy didn’t disappoint! I kicked things off at the AWISE event, hearing from industry leader Stephanie Bashir, her story of grit and resilience was incredibly inspiring. Day one was full of energy as I met with distributors to chat about new projects and where the industry’s headed. The evenings were just as valuable, full of great networking and conversations. By day two, our stand was even busier and really reinforced how important it is to stay agile and keep communication open in this ever-changing industry. Can’t wait for next year!”

For PowerPlus, it showcased not just the strength of our products but also the strength of our people.

Simon Ceglinski (Head of Technical & Strategic Projects)

“All Energy in Melbourne last week was nothing short of outstanding, easily one of the strongest years yet. The whole week had such a positive, collaborative vibe, and it really showed how fast our industry is maturing. I ran several factory tours, taking about 45 people through our facility allowing them to see firsthand where our products are made.

The exhibition was massive. Seeing our products displayed across the floor and watching people connect with the story behind our stand, the ‘typical Australian home’ setup was a proud moment. It was a week full of momentum, genuine connection and shared excitement for where our industry is headed. Well done to everyone, I’m already looking forward to next year.”

Yahan Tang (Business Development Management NSW)

“All Energy 2025 once again showed just how fast this market is moving. Seeing battery demand booming across the industry was both exciting and a reminder of the noise and confusion still surrounding the Cheap Home Battery Rebate. It felt like a week for collective reflection and recharge, helping us keep the momentum going.

Once again it was special to host our factory tours at our office and to see ongoing support from customers flying in from across the country. As always, the after-events were chaotic, hilariously fun, and maybe left us feeling a little dusty the next morning but somehow, this event and this industry, keeps bringing me more lifelong friends from every corner of Australia each year.”

Edwin Cotter (Engineering Manager)

All Energy 2025 was certainly the most active show in the history of the event. It was interesting to see all the new companies attempting to enter the Australian market to take advantage of our specific state and federal requirements for battery installation and to capitalise on the battery rebate.

The biggest takeaway of the show for me was the market direction of batteries in the residential market giving PowerPlus Energy a clear target pathway for future residential platforms.

From busy exhibition days and hands-on factory tours to packed events and team catch-ups, All Energy 2025 was a powerful reminder of how far the renewable sector has come and how much opportunity lies ahead.

For PowerPlus, it showcased not just the strength of our products but also the strength of our people. We’re proud of what we achieved together and already looking forward to building on that at All Energy 2026.
