ECO4847P Battery Now Officially CEC Listed – Eligible for Cheaper Home Batteries Program

The PowerPlus Energy is proud to announce that our Australian-made ECO4847P lithium battery is now officially listed under the Clean Energy Council’s (CEC) Battery Assurance Program. This recognition confirms the ECO4847P meets Australia’s highest standards for safety, quality, and performance in residential energy storage.

With the CEC listing in place, it also means that the ECO4847P is now eligible for the Australian Government’s Cheaper Home Batteries Program, launching July 1st, providing homeowners and installers with access to government rebates on certified energy storage systems. The CEC listing demonstrates the ECO4847P has undergone rigorous, independent testing, giving customers peace of mind and confidence that they are investing in a safe, high-quality, and durable battery system.

PowerPlus Energy is committed to helping Australian households and businesses take full advantage of this initiative. We are focused on making participation as seamless as possible for both installers and end-users. Our support team is available to assist with any questions or guidance needed during the process.

PowerPlus Energy’s EGM, Shane Pollard commented “The ECO4847P has been in the market for off-grid applications for nearly a year, but the CEC listing demonstrates it is a safe and reliable product. With the new Government rebate program about to commence we are excited to be able to offer our customers a true Australian-made battery backed by local support and a 10 year warranty to install in on-grid and off-grid applications.”
