PowerPlus Energy Launches Trade-In Offer to Help Australians Access Government Battery Rebate

With the Australian Government’s Cheaper Home Batteries Program launching today, PowerPlus Energy is launching a new initiative to support installers and customers with an exciting trade-in initiative on their Eco4847P battery.

Installers can now upgrade their customers to the Eco4847P and receive a $200 Ex. GST trade-in per battery when replacing older models, the Eco4840P or LiFe4833P. With rebates and trade-in value combined, customers may be eligible to receive a new battery for as little as $47*, unlocking significant savings.

“We’re proud to offer a solution that not only helps households tap into the government rebate but also supports our installer network with a clear pathway to deliver more value and repeat business,” said Rick McKenzie, National Sales Manager at PowerPlus Energy.

The Eco4847P is the latest in PowerPlus Energy’s CEC-listed, Australian-made battery range. It delivers 4.7kWh of scalable storage, 42% more capacity than earlier models, and works with existing system infrastructure making the upgrade both simple and cost-effective.

PowerPlus Energy is also committed to sustainability. Where possible, returned batteries will be reconditioned and repurposed for community projects, keeping valuable materials out of landfill. Installers with a project that could benefit from these batteries are encouraged to contact PowerPlus directly. “This isn’t just about selling batteries, it’s about empowering communities, minimising waste and helping more Australians take control of their energy future.”

Not all systems will qualify for the Government rebate. Eligibility must be confirmed by a licensed installer. For further information or to speak to our support team, contact PowerPlus Energy .
